Creative Arts Therapy
Art therapy creates a safe environment where you can use a mix of art materials to explore difficult emotions, gain confidence, and expand self-awareness.
Discover the healing power of art therapy
Whether you’re a child, a teen, or an adult, we all face moments where emotions can feel too big or too complicated for us to handle… or at least handle alone. Reaching out for help is a bold and brave move that can help you find peace, comfort, or the understanding of what’s going on inside you.
What is art therapy?
Art therapy uses art materials and creative expression to help with emotions that can otherwise feel overwhelming or difficult to put into words. It allows you to express yourself through colours and texture, without needing to explain what it is you’re feeling. In a safe, supportive space, art therapy helps you reflect on what’s going on inside, helping you build self-awareness and gain confidence in handling the myriad challenges we all face in our day-to-day lives.
Who can benefit from creative arts therapy?
Absolutely anyone can benefit from art healing, especially if you find verbalising feelings to be difficult and intimidating.
Art therapy for children: you might find that art therapy provides a gentle way to communicate emotions that children may not yet have the words to express.
Art healing for teens: you might find that art therapy supports teens in processing their experiences, managing stress, and building self-esteem.
Art therapy for adults: you might find that art healing helps you create a space to work through personal challenges, including stress, grief, relationship issues, or major life transitions, in a restorative and creative way.
